HKScan convenes EGM to elect new board members

HKScan Corporation has officially called its shareholders to an Extraordinary General Meeting (EGM) to be held on Wednesday, January 30, 2019, at 10 am in Turku, Finland. The meeting's primary focus will be on changes to the company's board of directors.

The agenda includes resolutions on the number of members on the board. The Nomination Committee, representing over two-thirds of the voting rights, has proposed that the board consist of five ordinary members and two deputy members. The meeting will vote on electing Jari Mäkilä, Harri Suutari, and Terhi Tuomi as new board members, with Ilkka Uusitalo proposed as a new deputy member, all serving until the end of the 2019 Annual General Meeting.

Shareholders registered by January 18, 2019, are eligible to attend. Notification of attendance must be submitted by January 25, 2019. The proposals from the Board of Directors and other meeting documents will be available on HKScan's website, www.hkscan.com, starting January 9, 2019.

The EGM will also address procedural matters, such as verifying the meeting's legality and appointing scrutineers. All relevant documentation will be accessible online and provided to shareholders upon request.
