HMD Asha 505 Smartphone Leaks Online
New leaks reveal HMD's plans for the Asha 505 smartphone. The device is expected to be among the first products under HMD's revived Asha brand, alongside the previously leaked Asha 305.

HMD is reportedly planning to release a new smartphone, the Asha 505, according to recent leaks. This device is expected to be part of HMD's initiative to reintroduce the classic Asha sub-brand, with the Asha 305 also previously surfacing.
The Asha 505 specifications place it in the entry-level segment. It features a 5-inch 720p display with a 60Hz refresh rate, and it does not offer a full-screen design. The front camera is 5MP. The rear camera is 8MP, and its module design is similar to that of the older Nokia Lumia 830.
Despite other features, HMD has not adopted the Skyline-style front design for the Asha 505. Details about the processor are scarce, but it is expected to be an octa-core chip, possibly from Unisoc. The phone will come with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage.
The device is anticipated to be powered by a 3000mAh battery and will run Android 14 Go. The new Asha line, including the 305 and 505, is positioned as a range of very low-end, entry-level smartphones.
These devices seem intended for niche markets such as children's phones, digital detox tools, or trendy accessory items, diverging from the original Asha brand's mission to bring feature phones with touchscreens to emerging markets.
