HMD Launches Vibe2 Pro Smartphone in India
HMD has introduced the Vibe2 Pro smartphone in the Indian market. Positioned in the mid-to-low end segment, the device starts at 14,999 rupees.
HMD has launched the Vibe2 Pro smartphone in the Indian market, targeting the mid-to-low end consumer segment. The device is priced starting at 14,999 rupees, which is approximately 1,048 Chinese yuan based on current exchange rates.
The HMD Vibe2 Pro is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 6300 chipset. It features a 6.78-inch LCD display with a 1080P resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. The phone is available in two configurations: 6GB of RAM with 128GB of storage, and 8GB of RAM with 128GB of storage. Storage expansion via microSD card is supported.
For photography, the Vibe2 Pro is equipped with a 64-megapixel primary camera using a Sony IMX682 sensor, a 2-megapixel macro lens, and a 13-megapixel front-facing camera. The device houses a 6,000mAh battery with support for 33W wired charging.
Running on the Android 16 operating system, HMD has committed to providing two years of security updates for the Vibe2 Pro. Additional features include a side-mounted fingerprint sensor, stereo speakers, a 3.5mm headphone jack, dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.3, and 5G network capabilities. The smartphone will be available in three color options: Silver Mist, Sea Green, and Nebula Purple, with sales commencing on October 8.
