HMS Networks Acquires Molex Industrial Communications Business
HMS Networks is acquiring part of Molex's Industrial Solutions Business Unit, strengthening its technology portfolio with strategic intellectual property and expanding its customer base in North America.

HMS Networks has entered into an agreement to acquire a portion of Molex's Industrial Solutions Business Unit, focusing on industrial communications technology. The acquisition, expected to close in January 2026, includes intellectual property, a product portfolio of network interface cards and software stacks, and customer relations primarily in the USA and Japan.
The deal also encompasses development teams based in Waterloo, Canada, and Le Thuit Anger, France, along with the French company Woodhead Software & Electronics S.A.S.U. This strategic move aims to bolster HMS Networks' Industrial Network Technology (INT) division by enhancing its software and hardware offerings with complementary intellectual property.
HMS Networks anticipates the acquired business will generate annual revenues exceeding USD 10 million and contribute positively to its profitability, with a purchase price of USD 7 million on a cash and debt-free basis. The acquisition is expected to have a limited impact on HMS Networks' Earnings Per Share.
This acquisition supports the INT division's strategy to strengthen its market position in North America, a key strategic market. HMS Networks views the integration as an opportunity to leverage synergies with Molex's existing offerings and expand cross-selling possibilities within its product portfolio.
