HMS Networks aims for wider remote access adoption
HMS Networks offers a 20% discount on its Ewon Cosy+ remote access solution to encourage more companies to adopt industrial IoT and remote machine monitoring.
HMS Networks is promoting the adoption of industrial IoT (IIoT) through its remote access solutions, offering a 20% discount on its Ewon Cosy+ product for new customers. The initiative aims to increase the number of remotely accessible machines in production.
Currently, only an estimated 50% of machines in operation are equipped for remote access. HMS Networks highlights that beyond financial savings, remote access is crucial for reducing the industrial sector's environmental impact by minimizing the need for technician travel.
"The international geopolitical situation makes secure remote access to machines almost indispensable," stated Sébastien Thinnes, Head of Products and Marketing for HMS Networks' Ewon Business Unit. He noted that industrial connectivity is a high-growth sector.
Concerns about data security are a primary barrier for companies hesitant to adopt industrial connectivity. HMS Networks asserts that its Cosy+ solution meets high cybersecurity standards, featuring multiple layers of protection and ongoing investment in defense against cyber threats.
With over 20 years of experience, Ewon products have established themselves as a standard for remote access. More than 450,000 machines are currently connected to Ewon's Talk2m industrial cloud, positioning HMS Networks as a leading player in this market.
