HMS Networks has published a technical guide outlining the compatibility procedures for integrating its Intesis AC Interfaces with Fujitsu air conditioning systems. The document specifies different gateway types and their ability to connect with specific Fujitsu indoor and outdoor units.

The company categorizes its gateways into two main types: 'One-to-One' and 'Multi-Unit'. The 'One-to-One' category includes Universal IR, AC Connector, and RC Connector interfaces, designed to control a single indoor unit. These offer individual control points for key variables like on/off status, setpoint, and fan speed.

According to the guide, 'One-to-One' gateways support various indoor unit types including cassettes, ducted, floor-standing, and wall-mounted units, as well as air curtains. However, they are not compatible with air-to-water systems, AHUs, or heat exchange systems. The document also notes that if an indoor unit supports the UTY-TFSXF2 LAN interface, only one interface (either the Intesis or the Fujitsu LAN) can be connected simultaneously.

The 'Multi-Unit' gateways provide direct access to the outdoor unit's communication bus (X1/X2), enabling individual control and monitoring of outdoor units. These gateways do not connect directly toIndoor units and are compatible with VRF outdoor units, but not with air-to-water or heat exchange systems. HMS Networks directs users to its HVAC Compatibility Tool and Intesis MAPS configuration tool for further details.
