HMS Networks confirms RED compliance for Anybus wireless products
HMS Networks announces its industrial wireless products now comply with the updated Radio Equipment Directive (RED). The new regulations take effect on August 1, 2025.

HMS Networks has updated its range of industrial wireless Anybus products to comply with the revised Radio Equipment Directive (RED), which takes effect on August 1, 2025.
The majority of HMS Networks' wireless products, including Wi-Fi and Bluetooth solutions, now meet the directive's requirements. The Anybus Wireless Bolt LTE product is expected to achieve RED compliance later in 2025.
The updated RED directive introduces stricter regulations for wireless devices sold in the EU, focusing on cybersecurity features such as secure communication and access control. These changes aim to enhance the overall safety and resilience of wireless communications in industrial and consumer applications.
HMS Networks stated that it has proactively tested and certified its products to ensure compliance. This supports the company's customers, such as device manufacturers and system integrators, in avoiding regulatory risks and accelerating their own product launches.
