HMS Networks: How to Set Up NAT 1:1 on Ewon Flexy

HMS Networks has published technical guidance for configuring NAT 1:1 (Network Address Translation) on its Ewon Flexy remote access devices. The newly released instructions are designed to simplify the setup for users who need to establish direct IP address mappings.

The NAT 1:1 feature allows for a one-to-one mapping of a device's internal IP address to an external IP address. This is particularly useful in scenarios where direct and predictable network connectivity is required between specific devices across different networks.

The configuration process involves navigating through the Ewon Flexy's user interface. Users are guided to enable the NAT 1:1 functionality within the system setup, communication, networking, and routing sections. They then configure the specific device IP address on the LAN side and the corresponding Mapped IP address on the WAN side.
