HMS Networks Offers Three Anybus CompactCom Options
HMS Networks has released three distinct Anybus CompactCom variants designed to enhance industrial network connectivity for devices. The options cater to specific application needs, from rapid market entry to high-volume cost efficiency.

Swedish technology firm HMS Networks has introduced three Anybus CompactCom models aimed at simplifying and accelerating device integration into various industrial networks. The new solutions offer flexibility and performance tailored to different applications, addressing needs from swift market entry to cost-effective high-volume production.
The "All-in-one" module is positioned as the optimal choice for applications prioritizing rapid market entry. It consolidates hardware, firmware, and network connectors into a single unit that slots directly into a device. This design facilitates effortless installation and hot-swapping, making it suitable for late-stage manufacturing customization. It supports all major Fieldbus, Industrial Ethernet, and IIoT networks, incorporating advanced cybersecurity features.
The "Pluggable brick" option provides hardware and firmware within a connectable module, presenting an economical solution for higher production volumes. This fully embedded design allows for the integration of specific connectors and compliance with protection class requirements. It also supports easy replacement and late-stage configuration. Like the other variants, it offers broad support for industrial networks and robust security functionalities.
A new addition, the "soldered-on brick," is engineered for direct soldering onto a device's printed circuit board. This configuration optimizes automated manufacturing processes and is ideal for high-volume applications. The soldered design reduces costs, allows for custom connectors, and ensures protection class compliance, making it a compact and cost-effective choice for smaller, more budget-conscious devices.
HMS Networks aims to equip device manufacturers with scalable connectivity solutions to meet the evolving demands of industrial automation and increasing cybersecurity mandates across various sectors.
