HMS Networks Releases Hitachi Compatibility Guidance
HMS Networks has published a guide detailing the compatibility of its Intesis AC Interfaces with Hitachi air conditioning units. The documentation covers various product categories and integration methods.
HMS Networks, a company specializing in information and automation solutions, has released new documentation to clarify the compatibility between its Intesis AC Interfaces and Hitachi air conditioning equipment. This guide is intended for users looking to integrate Hitachi devices into building automation systems.
The document outlines the steps for verifying compatibility between various Hitachi indoor units and HMS Networks' Intesis gateways. Compatibility is categorized into two main types: One-to-One and Multi-Unit. The One-to-One category further breaks down into Universal IR, AC Connector, and RC Connector subcategories, each designed for controlling a single indoor unit.
According to the guide, HMS Networks' gateways support a wide range of Hitachi units, including air-to-water units, VRF fan coil units, and various indoor models such as cassettes, ducted, and floor-standing units, including the UTOPIA and Set FREE ranges. However, ventilation units and outdoor units are not supported within this category.
The Multi-Unit gateways provide direct access to the outdoor unit's communication bus, enabling the control and monitoring of multiple indoor units. These are compatible with air-to-water units and VRF outdoor units but are not suitable for ventilation units or heat exchange systems. HMS Networks also directs users to its HVAC Compatibility Tool website for further assistance.
