HOCHTIEF to Build 36 MW Data Center in Berlin for NTT

HOCHTIEF has been awarded a contract by NTT Global Data Centers to build a new 36 MW data center campus facility in Berlin. The project scope includes a three-storey data center and a four-storey office building.

Construction is scheduled to commence in summer 2026. The initial data halls are anticipated for handover in 2028, and the entire project is targeted for completion in 2029.

The development will be executed by an integrated team from HOCHTIEF Infrastructure and Dornan, which is a subsidiary of Turner. This contract adds to HOCHTIEF's growing portfolio in digital infrastructure projects.

HOCHTIEF's engagement in the data center construction sector has seen significant growth, with the segment representing 21% of its order backlog in 2025. The deal underscores a growing demand for data center capacity in Germany.
