Holmen Restructures Executive Management Team
Holmen is strengthening its executive leadership with Anders Jernhall focusing on strategic matters as Deputy CEO, and Stefan Loréhn appointed as the new CFO effective spring 2025.
Swedish forest industry group Holmen announced changes to its executive management team aimed at enhancing its competitive position and strategic direction. Anders Jernhall, previously Deputy CEO and CFO, will now exclusively focus on strategic issues in his role as Deputy CEO.
Stefan Loréhn has been appointed as the new Chief Financial Officer (CFO), set to take office in spring 2025. Loréhn joins Holmen from LKAB, where he served as CFO, and brings prior experience from Holmen.
"By clarifying these roles, we strengthen the ability to develop the group," stated CEO Henrik Sjölund. He highlighted Jernhall's analytical and strategic contributions and Loréhn's suitability for the financial leadership role.
The restructuring comes as the forest industry navigates a transition towards fossil-free solutions. Jernhall's increased focus on strategy and Loréhn's financial expertise are expected to support Holmen's long-term development in this evolving market.
