Holmen, a forestry products group, announced its full-year results for 2025, with an operating profit of SEK 3,270 million. This represents a decrease from the SEK 3,721 million reported in 2024, along with an operating margin of 15 percent, down from 16 percent the previous year. The company cited a weaker performance in its wood products segment and reduced electricity prices in northern Sweden as primary reasons for the decline.

For the fourth quarter of 2025, Holmen's operating profit stood at SEK 739 million. This figure was impacted by an inventory write-down of SEK 160 million. In contrast, the third quarter of 2025 had its operating profit reduced by SEK 150 million due to a maintenance shutdown. Net sales for the fourth quarter amounted to SEK 5,183 million.

Profit after tax for the full year 2025 reached SEK 2,879 million, a slight increase from SEK 2,861 million in 2024. Earnings per share improved to SEK 18.5 from SEK 18.0 in the prior year. The book value of the Group's forest assets was reported at SEK 56,711 million at the end of December.

Holmen's Board of Directors has proposed an increase in the ordinary dividend to SEK 9.5 per share, up from SEK 9.0. During 2025, the company repurchased its own shares for a total of SEK 1,649 million, representing 2.65 percent of the total number of shares.
