Holy Name Cemetery hosts open house weekend in Jersey City

Holy Name Cemetery & Mausoleum, managed by the Catholic Cemeteries of the Archdiocese of Newark, is hosting an open house event at its Jersey City location on 823 West Side Avenue. The site will be open to the public on Saturday, November 7, and Sunday, November 8, from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

The event provides an opportunity for families to tour the grounds, including the chapel mausoleum and burial sections. Staff members will be available to discuss options for traditional interments and cremation niches, as well as to provide guidance on pre-planning.

During the event, the cemetery is offering a 48-month, 0% interest financing plan for those purchasing memorial services. This specific financial offer is scheduled to expire at the end of the weekend, with no similar programs expected until 2027.
