Holy Name Cemetery & Mausoleum in Jersey City, New Jersey, is hosting its final open house weekend of 2026 on November 7 and 8. The event invites local families to tour the grounds and learn about burial options, including mausoleum crypts and cremation niches.
During the two-day event, the organization is offering 0% interest financing for 48 months. This specific financial incentive will not be available throughout 2027. Holy Name serves as the only Catholic cemetery in Hudson County with current burial capacity, positioning itself as a central provider for the local Catholic community.
Joseph Heckel, Executive Director of Catholic Cemeteries of the Archdiocese of Newark, stated that pre-planning serves as a practical measure for families to finalize end-of-life arrangements. Memorial Planning Advisors will be available to assist visitors without requiring appointments or obligations.
