Home Cleaning Startup Scrubsy Raises $3 Million

Indian direct-to-consumer (D2C) home cleaning startup Scrubsy has raised ₹27 crore ($3 million) in a seed funding round led by V3 Ventures.

Founded in 2025 by Kartik Sibal, Ishan Suri, Nitin Jain, and Aditya Bhasin, Scrubsy manufactures foam-based cleaning products for kitchens, bathrooms, footwear, and other surfaces. The fresh capital will enable the Delhi NCR-based startup to expand into new categories, including car cleaners, laundry care, and other all-purpose home cleaning solutions.

Scrubsy sells its products through its D2C website and major online marketplaces. Its portfolio includes a kitchen cleaner and degreaser, an all-in-one bathroom cleaner, a multi-purpose foam cleaner, and a footwear cleaner. The company states its formulations are designed to cling to grime and stains and work within 30 seconds, reducing the need for heavy scrubbing.

BoldChem Science Pvt Ltd, Scrubsy's parent entity, reported 100% year-on-year revenue growth and acquired over 500,000 customers within eight months of launch. The startup is targeting ₹100 crore ($120 million) in annual recurring revenue (ARR) by FY28 and has been profitable since inception, operating on bootstrapped funding until this round.

The funding round occurs as India's household cleaning market grows, fueled by rising hygiene awareness, urbanization, and increased disposable incomes driving demand for branded and specialized cleaning products. The market was valued at $11.91 billion in 2025 and is projected to reach $39.84 billion by 2034, growing at a CAGR of 13.93%.
