Home decor marketplace Vaaree has successfully raised ₹65 crore (approximately $6.8 million) in a Series A funding round. The investment was co-led by Hero Enterprise and Cap Alpha Ventures (formerly Client Associates Alternate Fund).
The Bengaluru-based startup intends to utilize the new capital to expand its fulfillment network, expedite delivery timelines, and enhance its proprietary AI-powered discovery engine, VibeCheck. This engine provides personalized product recommendations, room visualizations, and automated mood boards to assist users in finding home decor items tailored to their preferences and existing spaces.
"Most people know how they want their home to feel, but translating that into the right products is difficult. With VibeCheck, we want to give every Indian access to a personal home stylist, one that understands their taste, helps them visualise complete spaces and makes every recommendation instantly shoppable," stated co-founder Varun Vohra.
Vaaree also plans to establish additional fulfillment and quality verification hubs in key markets to facilitate next-day deliveries while improving quality control and product availability. Founded in 2022, the startup operates an online marketplace offering over 1.5 lakh products across categories including bedding, furnishings, kitchenware, bath products, and lighting.
The funding round occurs amid sustained investor interest in the home improvement and decor segment, with other recent funding activities including AllHome's $21 million Series B round and HomeEssentials' ₹70 crore pre-Series B round.
