Home Helpers Franchisees Named IFA Franchisee of the Year

Beth and Phillip Dow, franchisees of Home Helpers® Home Care in Newnan, Georgia, have received the 2026 Franchisee of the Year Award from the International Franchise Association (IFA). The couple was honored for excellence in entrepreneurship, community outreach, and creating opportunities for others. This marks the second time the Dows have earned this prestigious recognition, having previously won in 2015.

The award was presented during the IFA26 Advocacy Summit in Washington D.C. from September 14-16. Now in their 19th year with Home Helpers® Home Care, the Dows have established a trusted local care organization projected to generate $4.5 million in revenue this year. Their team of 150 caregivers and 14 operations staff serves 112 clients, assisting seniors and others to maintain independence and dignity at home.

The Dows recently expanded their service area to include Canton, Georgia. Beth Dow has developed a dedicated shift support team to ensure service continuity and actively shares marketing materials and operational practices with fellow Home Helpers franchisees. She is also a Certified Alzheimer's Educator and writes a regular newspaper column offering advice to seniors and their families.

According to the IFA, Franchisees of the Year embody the core of franchising: individuals dedicated to improving their communities and building something larger than themselves. The Dows' leadership creates jobs and career paths, contributes to their communities, and supports other franchisees, all while exemplifying the entrepreneurial spirit inherent in franchising.
