Home robotics startup Matic generates $20 million in revenue
Founded by former Google employees, Matic has sold over 13,000 cleaning robots since launching in November 2024.

Matic, co-founded by Mehul Nariyawala and Navneet Dalal, has reached an estimated $15 million to $20 million in revenue following its commercial debut. The company’s entry into the home robotics market followed a detailed internal assessment of consumer complaints regarding the reliability and functionality of existing vacuum robots.
The startup prioritized privacy-focused technology and improved spatial navigation to differentiate its hardware from incumbent market offerings. By focusing on the capability to maneuver through common household messes, the company aimed to address specific design limitations that frequently plagued earlier robotic cleaning devices.
Since its launch in November 2024, the company has successfully distributed over 13,000 units. This performance signals a segment of the market seeking alternatives to established robotics providers, specifically through a focus on utility and data privacy.
