HomeLane Aims for Over ₹1,000 Crore Revenue and Profitability
Indian home interiors company HomeLane is targeting over ₹1,000 crore (approx. $120 million) in revenue and focused on achieving profitability. The company has strategically integrated with DesignCafe and is expanding its offerings.

Bengaluru-based home interiors startup HomeLane has set a target to surpass ₹1,000 crore (approximately $120 million) in revenue and achieve sustained profitability within the next two years. The company has recently merged with DesignCafe, aiming to leverage synergies and streamline operations.
The company's revenue grew 22% year-on-year to ₹747.8 crore (approx. $90 million) in FY25, while net losses narrowed by over 8% to ₹111.38 crore. HomeLane has previously raised $194 million in funding from various venture capital firms.
HomeLane is expanding its offerings beyond modular interiors to more comprehensive home improvement solutions, including false ceilings, wallpapers, and home appliances. This expansion positions it in direct competition with rival Livspace, which has also broadened its services to encompass end-to-end home renovation.
The acquisition of DesignCafe in September last year, coupled with a ₹225 crore (approx. $27 million) fundraise, is central to the company's strategy. CEO Vivek Iyer highlighted that the focus on integrating operations and improving efficiency deferred the earlier target of crossing ₹1,000 crore in revenue to FY27.
The company is banking on technology, such as AI and virtual design tools, to enhance customer experience and operational efficiency. HomeLane has previously operated in over 45 cities and delivered over 70,000 homes.
