Homestyle Direct Launches Institutional Foodservice Division
Homestyle Direct is entering the institutional foodservice market with individually plated, medically tailored meals designed for rapid deployment. The company will debut its new division at the Premier Breakthroughs 2026 Conference.

TWIN FALLS, Idaho – Homestyle Direct has launched a new specialty foodservice division targeting institutional clients such as hospitals and senior care facilities.
The new division offers fully prepared, individually plated meals that are medically tailored to address complex dietary needs. The goal is to provide a solution that allows for rapid deployment without extensive on-site kitchen staff or facilities. The company will present its new offerings at the Premier's Breakthroughs 2026 Conference in National Harbor, Maryland, from October 6-8.
Homestyle Direct CEO Jeff Barteau stated that providing medically appropriate meal options in institutional settings is now an imperative. The company aims to change this by offering scalable solutions capable of meeting the demands of large-scale operators. The initial menu features 16 meal options designed to meet the specific dietary requirements of patients, residents, and community members.
The service is specifically designed for acute care hospitals, critical access hospitals, senior living facilities, skilled nursing facilities, and university campuses where speed, quality, and nutritional precision are critical factors. Homestyle Direct's model reduces labor burdens and simplifies service workflows for these institutions.
