Hong Kong Fintech Firm Regtitude Launches China Expansion Bridge
Hong Kong-based fintech firm Regtitude has launched a new framework to support Malaysian companies expanding into Hong Kong and China's Greater Bay Area.

Regtitude Limited, a Hong Kong-based advisory firm specializing in fintech, Web3, and governance, risk, and compliance, announced on October 13 the launch of its Hong Kong-China Expansion Bridge. This initiative is designed to assist Malaysian companies within the fintech, Web3, and digital economy sectors looking to expand their operations into Hong Kong and China's Greater Bay Area (GBA).
The framework, according to Regtitude, covers crucial aspects such as licensing, regulatory compliance, digital certificate management, cybersecurity, and the application of legal AI. The firm highlights the significant market potential of the GBA, citing its population exceeding 86 million and a GDP of over US$2 trillion.
The announcement follows Malaysia's Budget 2027, and Regtitude also references fintech-related measures within that budget. This initiative aligns with broader efforts to position Hong Kong as a gateway to the GBA and enhance cross-border financial connectivity.
Regarding sector-specific regulations, the Hong Kong Securities and Futures Commission lists virtual asset trading platforms by their regulatory status, noting that an application alone does not authorize operations. Regtitude's new framework aims to streamline these complex regulatory pathways for expanding businesses.
