Hongqi launches presales for new H9 sedan featuring Huawei autonomous driving
Hongqi has opened presales for its updated H9 luxury sedan in China, integrating Huawei’s ADS 5 autonomous driving system and HarmonyOS cockpit.
Hongqi has officially opened presales for its refreshed H9 sedan, with prices ranging from 329,800 to 419,800 yuan across four trim levels. The sedan marks a significant technological update to the manufacturer's lineup, shifting toward high-end digital integration.
The vehicle features Huawei’s ADS 5 high-level intelligent driving system, supported by an 896-line LiDAR sensor capable of detecting small obstacles at speeds of 120 km/h. Inside, the car adopts a triple-screen layout powered by the HarmonyOS cockpit system. Hongqi has also implemented its self-developed MoLA architecture to improve voice interaction responsiveness.
Mechanically, the H9 utilizes an 800V high-voltage hybrid platform paired with a 2.0T engine. The all-wheel-drive configuration provides a total power output of 444 kW. The chassis setup includes air suspension with active damping and a rear-wheel steering system capable of 16-degree rotation, aiming to improve maneuverability for its 3,120 mm wheelbase.
The H9 has grown in size compared to its predecessor, now measuring 5,230 mm in length. With comfort features including four-seat ventilation and massage functions, the model continues Hongqi's strategy of targeting the luxury C+ segment.
