HongShan Invests in ZXMOTO as Chinese Motorcycle Maker Targets Global Racing
China-focused venture capital firm HongShan has invested in ZXMOTO, a Chongqing-based motorcycle manufacturer aiming for international racing circuits.

HongShan, the China-focused venture capital firm formerly known as Sequoia China, has invested in ZXMOTO. The Chongqing-based motorcycle maker, founded by Zhang Xue, plans to collaborate with HongShan on product development and compete internationally.
ZXMOTO specializes in high-performance motorcycles and has announced plans to enter the World Supersport class of the FIM Superbike World Championship in 2026. The financial terms of HongShan's investment were not disclosed.
The investment is expected to support ZXMOTO's growth and international expansion efforts. The partnership could enhance the company's capabilities in developing competitive racing motorcycles and expanding its market presence globally.
