Honkarakenne Expands Global Partnerships and Product Development
Finnish timber manufacturer Honkarakenne Oyj has recently inked several strategic partnerships and MOUs internationally. The company is also advancing new wood construction technologies.

Finnish timber manufacturer Honkarakenne Oyj has recently expanded its global reach and developed new technologies in wood construction.
The company has signed strategic partnership agreements, including one with SAPRO GROUP LLC in Uzbekistan, and has entered into memorandums of understanding (MOUs) with entities in Kazakhstan to advance sustainable tourism and ecological solutions.
Honkarakenne has also deepened its involvement in Ukraine's reconstruction efforts, signing an MOU with the Kyiv Regional Military Administration and the Borodyanka Village Council at the Rebuild Ukraine 2025 Forum. The company also participated in the Rebuild Ukraine exhibition in Warsaw.
In the Nordic region, Honkarakenne is constructing Finland's largest CLT log hotel in Tornio, positioning it within Lapland's burgeoning tourism sector. The company has also launched a new generation of CLT logs, Honka Fusion+, and is exploring innovative applications such as floating infrastructure in partnership with MEYER Floating Solutions.
Alongside material advancements, Honkarakenne has introduced Woodism, a new architectural design direction offering custom luxury home solutions. The company's designs have been showcased, for instance, with Honka Kömmeli at the Oulu Housing Fair in Finland.
