Honor launches WIN RT2 smartphone in China

Honor introduced its WIN RT2 smartphone today, featuring the Snapdragon 8 Elite processor and a starting price of 3,149 yuan after national subsidies.

21 October 2026

Honor unveiled the WIN RT2, a new smartphone targeted at the gaming market, during its event on October 21. The device is powered by the fifth-generation Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset and includes a 2K 185Hz display, aligning with current industry trends for high-performance mobile gaming hardware.

The handset is available in three color variations: Red/Blue, Designated Win, and Fast Black. Pricing varies based on memory configurations, with the base 12GB+256GB model retailing at 4,199 yuan before factoring in government subsidies.

Following the application of national subsidies, the starting price for the base model is reduced to 3,149 yuan. Higher memory configurations, including the 16GB+512GB version, are priced at 4,149 yuan after subsidies are applied. These incentives are part of a broader push to stimulate consumer electronics spending within the Chinese market.
