HONOR launches X9e Pro smartphone with focus on physical durability
HONOR has introduced the X9e Pro, a smartphone designed to reduce consumer repair costs and downtime through improved structural resilience.

HONOR has officially released the X9e Pro, highlighting its focus on durability as a way to lower the total cost of ownership. The company contends that for mid-range smartphones, the expense of repairing accidental damage—such as cracked screens—can quickly become disproportionate to the device's original value.
The hardware features a 360-degree shock-absorbing architecture capable of withstanding drops from up to three meters. The device holds an SGS Premium Performance 5-Star rating for drop resistance, alongside IP69 and IP69K ratings, which certify protection against high-pressure water jets and exposure to temperatures up to 85°C.
Beyond hardware protection, the release addresses the secondary impact of device damage: lost productivity. With smartphones functioning as essential tools for banking, communication, and professional tasks, device failure often results in significant user inconvenience. By emphasizing rugged engineering, HONOR aims to mitigate these disruptions and extend the operational life of the handset.
