HONOR has officially launched the HONOR Life 5G mobile Wi-Fi device in China, with a retail price set at 199 yuan (approximately $28 USD).
The portable hotspot is powered by a Huawei HiSilicon chip, enabling 5G connectivity. It supports download speeds of up to 286 Mbps and can connect up to 16 devices simultaneously. A key feature is its 5000mAh battery, designed to provide extended usage.
The device supports dual-band Wi-Fi (5GHz/2.4GHz) and the Wi-Fi 6 protocol. It also includes a small color display showing network speed, the number of connected devices, and battery status.
Weighing approximately 140 grams, the HONOR Life 5G is designed for portability. It aims to provide users with reliable and fast internet access on the go.
The launch coincides with Chinese government subsidies for digital products, potentially making the device more accessible to consumers.
