Honor has launched its new Magic9 smartphone series. Following the release, the company's chief imaging engineer, Luo Wei, declared that the firm's imaging technology has reached a new level.
Honor has unveiled its new Magic9 smartphone series. In the wake of the launch event, Luo Wei, Honor's chief imaging engineer, announced via social media that the company's imaging capabilities have achieved a significant milestone.
According to Luo Wei, the Magic9 series represents the work of the Honor Imaging department in its second year. He suggested that an optional imaging package could enhance the user experience for those looking to maximize the device's photographic potential. Sample images captured with a 500mm telephoto lens were also shared.
The Magic9 Pro Max model features a 200-megapixel main camera with industry-leading CIPA 8.0 image stabilization and 3-degree gimbal-level stabilization. It also includes a 200-megapixel telephoto lens with similar stabilization. The hardware is complemented by an advanced array zoom flash and Honor's proprietary imaging chip, the H1, forming what the company calls the industry's only dual 200-megapixel imaging system.
Additionally, Honor introduced the Honor Telephoto Extender G500, a 500mm telephoto lens accessory designed to augment the phone's imaging capabilities, particularly for capturing distant subjects.
