Honor Magic9 Series Sales Up 208% Year-on-Year in First Hour
Honor's new Magic9 smartphone series has seen a strong sales start, with first-hour sales increasing by 208% compared to the previous generation.
Honor has announced that its newly launched Magic9 smartphone series has achieved significant sales figures.
According to the company, sales within the first hour of the Magic9 series going on sale increased by 208% compared to the previous generation's launch. Earlier reports indicated a 194% sales increase across online platforms in the first 30 minutes.
The Honor Magic9 series, which includes the Magic9 Pro Max, Magic9, and Magic9 Super Edition models, was launched earlier this month. Pricing for the series starts at 4499 yuan (approximately $630 USD).
Honor CEO Li Jian has previously addressed industry-wide pressures from rising component costs. He stated the company is striving to absorb these cost increases internally and avoid passing the full burden onto consumers by focusing on internal efficiency improvements.
