Honor Magic9 Series to Support Four SIM Cards
The new Honor Magic9 series, scheduled for release tomorrow, will allow the use of up to four SIM cards by combining two physical SIMs and two eSIM profiles.
Chinese technology company Honor announced that its upcoming Magic9 smartphone series will support quad-SIM connectivity. The new architecture allows for the simultaneous use of two physical SIM cards and two eSIM profiles, enabling users to be reachable on two different numbers concurrently.
The series is slated for release tomorrow. The Magic9 Pro Max model is said to feature the company's self-developed "zhenzui black diamond" display, boasting a reflectivity of only 1.5% due to a 5600-layer silicon nitride coating.
Further details suggest the rumored specifications for the Magic9 Pro Max include a 6.8-inch 1.5K+ LTPO display with a 120Hz refresh rate. The phone is expected to be powered by a Snapdragon 8 EE6 processor and feature an 8800mAh battery with 100W wired and 80W wireless charging.
On the camera front, the device may include a 200MP main camera, a 50MP ultrawide camera, and a second 200MP telephoto camera. Additional features are reported to include 3D facial recognition, an ultrasonic fingerprint sensor, and IP68 water resistance.
