Honor MagicOS July Update Introduces New AI Features and Remote Assistance
Honor MagicOS has released its July software update, introducing new AI capabilities for its YOYO assistant, including voice control for WeChat. A remote assistance application is also now available.

Honor MagicOS is rolling out its July software update, bringing a range of new features and improvements to its devices, according to a report by IT Home. The update notably enhances the AI assistant YOYO, adding voice command support for sending WeChat messages and initiating calls. A dedicated remote assistance application has also been launched, allowing users to receive or provide technical support on their devices remotely.
The update emphasizes usability and AI integration. YOYO gains new creative functions, such as converting photos into comic-style narratives and generating dynamic 'blind box' content. The user interface has seen numerous refinements, including smoother transitions between applications and improved gesture controls for task management. The YOYO assistant itself is updated to version 90.10.30.063 or higher for these features to function.
Further enhancements include the ability to create and view 3D photos, along with expanded customization options for the lock screen through widgets. Connectivity features have also been upgraded, featuring improved 120fps support for wireless screen sharing and automatic file synchronization across devices via Honor's Super Workbench. Users can also now share specific content types from apps like Bilibili and Kuaishou using the 'touch to transfer' function.
Honor aims to streamline the user experience with these updates. The system also includes optimizations for power consumption and thermal management, particularly addressing performance stability during high-temperature conditions. These efforts reflect Honor's ongoing commitment to delivering a seamless and reliable mobile experience for its users.
