Honor to Launch New Phones by Year-End
Honor is preparing to release several new smartphone models before the end of the year. The 700 Pro series is expected to feature a rear display, while new X series models will focus on large screens and batteries.
Chinese technology company Honor plans to introduce multiple new smartphone models in the final quarter of the year. Reports suggest that the upcoming 700 Pro series will include a native rear display and emphasize its 200-megapixel camera system.
In addition to the 700 Pro series, Honor is developing new additions to its X line of mid-range devices. These models are expected to feature large, approximately 7-inch displays and substantial battery capacities exceeding 10,000 mAh. The company is also accelerating development of a new wide-folding form factor smartphone.
The foldable device is anticipated to launch in the first quarter of 2027, potentially before the Chinese New Year. It is expected to be powered by the next generation Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 6 series processor, with a main screen size around 7.6 inches and a cover screen of approximately 5.5 inches.
These upcoming releases are part of Honor's strategy to expand its product portfolio and compete in various smartphone segments, including the growing market for foldable devices.
