Honor to update smartphone lineup with 700-series release
Honor is scheduled to launch its 700-series smartphones in November, featuring high-capacity batteries and advanced Snapdragon processors.
Honor has confirmed the upcoming release of its 700-series smartphones, which will serve as a significant hardware update to the company's existing digital product line. The series is expected to include three models, with the Pro variant positioned at the top of the range.
Leaked specifications suggest the Honor 700 Pro will feature Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 processor, while the standard model is expected to utilize the Snapdragon 8s Gen 4. Both devices will reportedly feature 6.57-inch OLED displays and an integrated rear-facing display designed to assist with notifications and self-portrait framing.
Imaging capabilities appear to be a primary focus, with reports indicating a 200-megapixel main camera across the series, with the Pro version incorporating a 50-megapixel periscope telephoto lens. The devices are also rumored to house high-capacity batteries, potentially reaching 9000 mAh, to support the increased processing demands.
The 700-series release is part of Honor's strategy to integrate updated AI features and photography tools into its mid-to-high tier offerings. The company is expected to release full pricing and availability details later this month.
