Honor Unveils Robot Phone Smartphone

Honor has officially launched its Robot Phone smartphone, with prices starting at 9999 yuan (approximately $1280 USD). The device offers two storage configurations: a 12GB RAM/512GB storage model priced at 9999 yuan, and a 16GB RAM/1TB storage version for 12999 yuan.

The new smartphone sports a 6.3-inch LTPO display with a 2640x1216 resolution and a peak brightness of 6800 nits. Powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen5 processor, the handset is equipped with a 7060mAh battery. The phone measures 9.59mm in thickness and weighs 248g. It is available in Star Orbit Silver and Moon Shadow Grey.

The camera system introduces several industry-first features, including a gimbal architecture made from aerospace-grade titanium alloy, which is 65% smaller than standard gimbals. The main camera boasts a 200-megapixel sensor (1/1.28", F1.6), complemented by a 50MP ultra-wide-angle lens and a 200MP periscope telephoto lens.

Additionally, the device features Honor's self-developed "Honor Yuguang H1" imaging chip. It supports a "Master Cinema" mode, bringing ARRI Log-C encoding and LUT color files to mobile devices. The phone's AI capabilities include object tracking, automatic video editing, and emotional recognition based on user mood and habits.

The Honor Robot Phone aims to distinguish itself through its advanced camera hardware and intelligent AI functions, designed to enhance both photography and videography. The device also features an updated operating system with the YOYO Pro mode, enabling complex command execution.
