Hovmand to demonstrate ergonomic lifting equipment at HI Tech & Industry Scandinavia

Hovmand A/S will present its range of ergonomic lifting solutions at the HI Tech & Industry Scandinavia trade fair, taking place in Herning from October 5–7. The company’s presence, located at booth H6048 in hall H, focuses on equipment designed to minimize manual labor in material handling processes, such as the transport of pallets, modular boxes, and heavy film rolls.

Key exhibits include specialized film roll manipulators that allow employees to transfer heavy rolls from pallets directly into packaging machinery. These units utilize electric or manual gripping mechanisms to ensure precise placement, thereby reducing the physical strain associated with heavy lifting and potentially lowering workplace injury rates.

In addition to standard operations, Hovmand highlights its hygienic design offerings. Several models are constructed from electropolished stainless steel with an IP66 rating, intended to withstand the cleaning agents required in the food and pharmaceutical sectors. According to CEO Søren Hovmand, the firm has also expanded its capabilities to include digital configuration services for customized lifting equipment.

The demonstrations aim to address industry-wide challenges regarding employee health and logistics efficiency, promoting the adoption of mechanical aids to streamline production environments.
