Hoymiles Launches 22 kW V2X DC Charger, Expanding Home Energy Ecosystem
Solar technology firm Hoymiles has introduced a 22 kW V2X DC charger, extending its home energy ecosystem to include electric vehicle charging and integrating with its HiOne BESS.

Hoymiles, a company specializing in solar technology, has launched a new 22 kW V2X (Vehicle-to-Everything) DC charger. This device expands the company's energy ecosystem for residential use by incorporating electric vehicle charging capabilities.
The new V2X charger is designed to work seamlessly with Hoymiles' HiOne All-in-One Battery Energy Storage System (BESS). This integration allows for charging electric vehicles while also enabling the vehicle's battery to serve as a power source for the home or to feed electricity back into the grid.
This move signifies Hoymiles' strategy to offer a more comprehensive and integrated energy management solution for households. By combining solar power generation, energy storage, and now EV charging with bidirectional power flow, the company aims to enhance energy efficiency and user control.
The V2X technology is expected to provide homeowners with greater flexibility in managing their energy consumption, potentially reducing electricity costs and increasing energy independence. It also contributes to grid stability by allowing electric vehicles to support peak load management or provide backup power during outages.
