HPQ Silicon Inc. announced it has increased its equity stake in Novacium SAS, a French technology company. The company's ownership in Novacium rose from 28.4% to 36.8%, marking an 8.4% increase.

The transaction was structured as a share issuance, with HPQ issuing a total of 22,407,916 of its own common shares to Novacium's shareholders. The shares were valued at C$0.18 each, bringing the total consideration to C$4.03 million (equivalent to €2.5 million). This stake increase is intended to strengthen HPQ's position and participation in future global revenues generated by Novacium's technologies.

Novacium's technology portfolio spans battery materials, hydrogen systems, and circular economy solutions. The move enhances HPQ's strategic partnership with Novacium and increases its economic exposure to the future revenues from the commercialization of Novacium's technologies in the short to medium term. HPQ already holds exclusive North American commercialization rights for these technologies.
