HPQ Silicon Resources Inc. has officially changed its name to HPQ Silicon Inc. and has been reclassified from a Tier 2 mining issuer to a Tier 1 technology issuer on the stock exchange.
HPQ Silicon Resources Inc. has officially changed its name to HPQ Silicon Inc. The company also completed its required change of business with the TSX Venture Exchange, reclassifying from a Tier 2 mining issuer to an Industrial, Technology or Life Sciences Tier 1 issuer.
This rebranding and reclassification reflects the company's strategic shift towards innovative silicon solutions and technology development. This includes its ventures in hydrogen extraction technology and the upcoming commercial validation of its PUREVAP™ Quartz Reduction Reactor (QRR) technology.
HPQ believes this upgrade better aligns its industry classification with its core business, which focuses on the manufacturing and commercialization of silicon and nanosilicon materials essential for the renewable energy sector.
