Hôtel Swexan launches artist-in-residence program in Dallas
Hôtel Swexan has appointed artist Adrien Broom as its inaugural resident, introducing the "The Garden of Unexpected Guests" installation to the Harwood District this November.
Hôtel Swexan, located in Dallas' Harwood District, has initiated an artist-in-residence program, naming photographer and installation artist Adrien Broom as its first participant. The collaboration will feature the installation of large-scale topiary structures on the hotel terrace.
Running from November 11 through November 22, the residency includes exclusive private portrait sessions dubbed "Living Tableaux." The project is designed to integrate large-scale art into the hospitality experience, marking a shift in how the hotel utilizes its public outdoor spaces.
This residency reflects a broader industry trend of high-end hotels leveraging cultural partnerships to distinguish their brand presence. By hosting Broom, Hôtel Swexan aims to solidify its position within the Harwood District's cultural scene, providing both guests and visitors with access to site-specific installations.
