Huawei and DJI Collaborate on Osmo Pocket 4 Camera
Huawei and DJI have announced a collaboration on the Osmo Pocket 4 gimbal camera, featuring enhanced integration with Huawei devices. The joint product is set to appear in stores starting September 26.
Chinese technology firm Huawei has officially announced a collaborative product with DJI, the HUAWEI × DJI Osmo Pocket 4 gimbal camera. The device, which will feature the Huawei logo, is scheduled to begin appearing in select retail locations starting September 26.
According to Li Xiaolong, CTO of Huawei Terminal BG, the joint Osmo Pocket 4 model will offer "more synergistic functions" aimed at improving usability. While specific details of these enhanced features have not yet been disclosed, expectations are that the camera will integrate more seamlessly with Huawei's ecosystem of smartphones and other devices.
The Osmo Pocket 4 was originally released by DJI in April. It features a new one-inch CMOS sensor, providing a 14-stop dynamic range and supporting 10-bit D-Log color mode. The base price for the Osmo Pocket 4 is 2999 yuan.
Key features of the Osmo Pocket 4 include its Smart Follow 7.0 subject tracking, intelligent autofocus system, and gesture controls that allow users to start/stop recording and tracking without touching the screen. This collaboration is anticipated to leverage these capabilities through tighter integration within Huawei's technological platform.
