Lau has been a prominent figure for Huawei's "ULTIMATE DESIGN" brand since its launch in December 2023. He previously participated in the brand's debut event and performed its theme song, "Feifan" (非凡). This song was later incorporated as a built-in ringtone for the Mate XT / XTs foldable phones.
Huawei's "ULTIMATE DESIGN" initiative was introduced with the aim of embodying "ultimate aesthetics, ultimate craftsmanship, and ultimate innovation." Collaborations with high-profile individuals like Lau are intended to enhance the brand's perception of luxury and exclusivity for its advanced devices.
The company has also confirmed that a launch event for HarmonyOS 7 and the HUAWEI Mate XT 2, alongside other full-scenario products, is scheduled for September 7. This event is expected to provide further details on the new hardware and software.
