Huawei comments on investigation into broken brake pedal bracket
Huawei has commented on the Chinese authorities' investigation into a reported incident of a broken brake pedal bracket on a vehicle, stating that "justice may be late, but it will never be absent."
Huawei has addressed the joint investigation launched by China's Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, the Cyberspace Administration of China, and the State Administration for Market Regulation concerning allegations of a broken brake pedal bracket.
Yu Chengdong, Huawei's Managing Director and Chairman of Terminal BG, shared a company statement on social media which read: "Justice may be late, but it will never be absent." This statement appears to express confidence in the outcome of the official inquiry.
Chinese authorities announced earlier this week the establishment of a joint investigation team to examine the alleged brake pedal bracket failures in the "ZunJie V800" vehicle. The statement indicated that the regulatory bodies are treating the matter with high importance and are proceeding with verification.
The vehicle manufacturer, ZunJie, has publicly stated its full cooperation with the joint investigation team, committing to uphold consumer rights and support the development of the new energy vehicle industry. Further details regarding the investigation's findings are expected to be released in due course.
