Huawei Debuts HUAWEI WATCH D3 at ISH-ECS 2026 Medical Conference
Huawei unveiled the HUAWEI WATCH D3 at the ISH-ECS 2026 conference in Dubai, showcasing new wearable technology designed for clinical-grade blood pressure monitoring.

Huawei showcased the HUAWEI WATCH D3 at the 31st International Society of Hypertension Scientific Meeting (ISH-ECS 2026) in Dubai. The device, which utilizes a wrist-based inflatable cuff to perform oscillometric measurements, is intended to provide users with a more accessible way to monitor blood pressure outside of clinical settings.
To further academic interest in the field, Huawei and the International Society of Hypertension have established an Innovation Fund for Wearable Blood Pressure Technology. The fund supports clinical research projects from various institutions, including the University of Colombo, the University of Edinburgh, Peking University People's Hospital, and the University of Cambridge.
Industry interest in wrist-worn medical wearables is growing, supported by recent clinical guidelines. Publications such as the 2026 ISH Global Hypertension Practice Guidelines and European Society of Hypertension consensus statements have begun to recognize the role of validated wearable devices in hypertension management. This marks a transition toward integrating consumer-grade wearables into standard monitoring protocols for chronic condition management.
