Huawei debuts LUTERRA S2 energy system at global installer summit
Huawei hosted its 7th Global Installer Summit in China, unveiling the LUTERRA S2 energy system aimed at streamlining residential installations.

Huawei Digital Power convened over 1,000 partners and installers from 54 countries at its 7th Global Installer Summit in Dongguan, China, in late October 2026. The event served as a platform for discussing renewable energy trends, business models, and technical advancements in residential power infrastructure.
The centerpiece of the summit was the introduction of the LUTERRA S2, described as the company’s first Full-SiC all-in-one system. Huawei designed the unit to simplify installation and logistics, citing a potential installation time of under ten minutes and improved energy efficiency. The system is scheduled for release in Europe this November, followed by the Asia-Pacific region in December.
With a global footprint covering over 4.3 million households, Huawei continues to push for deeper integration between PV systems, energy storage, and electric vehicle charging. During the summit, industry representatives from regions including France, Thailand, and Brazil shared operational insights, highlighting a shift toward more integrated, service-oriented business models in the solar industry.
