Huawei details specifications and pricing for Maextro V8
Huawei’s Harmony Intelligent Mobility Alliance has released configuration details for the Maextro V8, with pre-sale prices starting at 329,800 yuan ahead of a November launch.
Huawei has officially listed the specifications for the Maextro V8, a new vehicle model operating under its Harmony Intelligent Mobility Alliance. The company has set a pre-sale starting price of 329,800 yuan, with an official market launch anticipated for early November.
The lineup includes four distinct trim levels: Max, Max+, Ultra, and Ultra+. A key differentiator in the higher-end Ultra and Ultra+ variants is the inclusion of an architecture designed for L3 autonomous driving, supported by a quad-LiDAR sensor array. With the exception of the Max+ trim, consumers have the option to choose between an 800V extended-range powertrain or a full-electric version.
Technically, the vehicle emphasizes maneuverability with a standard ±12° rear-wheel steering system across the range. The interior configuration accommodates seven passengers, featuring zero-gravity seats as standard for the second row. Optional upgrades include various privacy glass configurations and high-resolution overhead entertainment screens.
As Huawei continues to scale its automotive footprint, the Maextro V8 showcases its reliance on the proprietary ADS 5 smart driving system. This launch highlights the company's focus on integrating advanced digital cockpits and autonomous driving features to capture market share within the competitive luxury electric vehicle sector in China.
