Huawei Technologies Co. Ltd. has showcased its new triple-folding HUAWEI Mate XT 2 smartphone. The device was publicly demonstrated, with its official launch set for September 7.
The phone features a "G"-shaped folding mechanism, an upgrade from the previous model's "Z"-type fold. This design, combined with an external display, allows for a larger usable screen area when the device is folded. The rear camera module retains an octagonal design, similar to its predecessor.
The Mate XT 2 is scheduled to be unveiled alongside Huawei HarmonyOS 7 and other new products during an event on September 7 at 2:30 PM. Further details and specifications are expected to be revealed at the launch event.
