Huawei expands smart reading navigation feature to additional smartphone models
Huawei has confirmed that its proprietary reading navigation tool, which allows users to flip pages via the fingerprint scanner, now supports a wider range of its recent flagship devices.
Huawei has updated the compatibility list for its "Smart Reading Key" feature, a tool that allows users to navigate through e-books by interacting with the device's fingerprint scanner. The feature, originally introduced in April, is designed to facilitate one-handed reading.
By swiping or long-pressing the fingerprint sensor, users can turn pages forward or backward, or perform rapid page-turning actions. The feature is enabled by default in version 3.1.52.300 or higher of the Huawei Reading application.
Expanded support now officially includes the Pura X View series and the Mate 90 series. These join the previously supported Pura X Max, Pura 90, and Mate XT Ultimate Design model lines.
