JOHANNESBURG, South Africa – Huawei unveiled its new Xinghe AI CloudCampus SaaS service platform at the Huawei Network Summit 2026 (HNS 2026) in Johannesburg. The company states the platform aims to lower the barrier to AI adoption in South Africa and drive regional digital transformation.
The new platform offers four core capabilities for network infrastructure management: flexibility, agility, intelligence, and scalability. These are intended to create a centralized, secure, and reliable cloud-based network management solution for South African enterprises and public agencies.
Key features of the platform include flexible business models with a pure SaaS subscription model, enabling zero initial CAPEX and pay-as-you-grow flexibility. It also offers support from a local service team, ensuring data privacy and regulatory compliance through automated updates. Agile deployment utilizes SD-Branch technology for rapid network configuration and device plug-and-play, speeding up the establishment of new branches.
Furthermore, the platform incorporates an AI-assisted operation and maintenance copilot that automatically identifies and resolves a significant portion of common network issues, reducing repair times and maintenance costs. Future-ready scalability integrates Wi-Fi, LAN, WAN, and security functions to support enterprise growth towards a global footprint.
