Huawei Launches Enhanced Stellar Network Solution for Europe

Huawei has unveiled an enhanced Stellar Intelligent Network solution tailored for the European market during the Huawei Network Summit 2026 in Florence, Italy. The company stated the solution aligns with its "Safe & Intelligent Connectivity" philosophy, aiming to advance AI development across various industries.

The upgraded offering includes Stellar Intelligent Fabric, Stellar Intelligent WAN, and Stellar Intelligent Campus Network. The Stellar Intelligent Fabric component focuses on reducing total cost of ownership (TCO) by quadrupling network scale and decreasing the number of switches and optical modules by 30 percent. It also incorporates advancements for network utilization and performance enhancements. Huawei also presented technologies for intelligent network visibility and rapid fault isolation in multi-vendor environments.

The Stellar Intelligent WAN component aims to improve inter-regional efficiency and reduce dedicated line costs by up to 60 percent. It utilizes new technology for data security and internal storage to mitigate data leakage risks. Huawei has also integrated a security card for real-time detection and blocking of unauthorized intrusions. A new Quantum Key Distribution (QKD) card combines communication and quantum security.

The Stellar Intelligent Campus Network enhances wireless performance and reduces interference through smart antennas and multi-access point coordination. The TCO for 10 Gigabit campus networks is targeted for a reduction of over 30 percent. Huawei also introduced new solutions for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), including converged gateways and switches with enhanced security features. Additionally, the company presented a three-stage energy-saving framework to build green and low-carbon networks compliant with European requirements.
